Mission

• Provide quality seed and early-stage investment opportunities for BAN members who have a commitment to the advancement of Baylor University and the Hankamer School of Business.

• Assist, educate, and connect early stage growth companies founded by Baylor “friends and family” with information and advisors for the purpose of raising money and assisting in their growth.

• Serve as a source of revenue for the business school through the BAN members sharing a portion of their returns received from their investments.

• Offer a hands-on educational experience to a select group of students who will facilitate the screening, evaluation, and due diligence process for the BAN members

• Serve as a tool for the Hankamer School of Business to recruit the best and brightest students both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

To establish a broad base of support, the Baylor Angel Network seeks members with:

• Particular expertise, such as marketing or finance

• Background in industries or markets with strong growth potential in the region

• Diversity of business focus

• Willingness to commit capital (with an expectation of investments in the $25,000 or greater range)
